My name is David Killingback and I am a photographer and film maker based in the south-west of England near Bath.
I absolutely love the whole process of creating images, whether moving or still: a fast moving action shoot on location or a technically demanding shoot in the studio – both satisfy different aspects of my creative and technical abilities.
My working philosophy is guided by a few simple principles:
1) The client is king, so listen to them well and understand them and their needs.
2) Expect the unexpected, so always over-prepare.
3) Good enough is not good enough.
4) Over-deliver.
5) Enjoy your work, be nice, respect everyone and people will want to work with you.
For larger productions I have access to a team of super-talented assistants, stylists, make-up artists and retouchers – all the backup that is needed to make even the most demanding job run smoothly from first contact through to delivery.
On days off you might find me cycling around the Wiltshire countryside trying to avoid big hills.
